Here is a great view of a Jesse Miller plein air, multimedia piece. He painted the tree and right side of the canyon looking out his window and taking down his impression. Then he sketched the left side and took it to the studio to create the leaded glass piece. (Obviously this is not strict plein air because he needed the left side built in studio). Then after putting the wood glass and canvas together he finished by touching up the painting on the right.
Not a bad view for right outside a starving artists bedroom window?
